Understanding your Rivervo invoice.

Where to find your payment history, how to download invoices for your accountant, and why plan changes and taxes look the way they do.

Here's where your payments are listed, which ones come with an invoice, and how to read what you see.

Where to find invoices

New panel (rivervo.com/panel): Payments → Payment history.

Each row shows:

  • What it was — the service name, a balance top-up, or a partner (referral) reward
  • Date
  • How it was paid — card payment, paid from balance, partner program, or added to balance
  • Amount — in US dollars, plus the amount in your card's currency when that differs
  • Download invoice — the download icon on rows that have an invoice

Which payments have an invoice

Invoices are issued by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record, for card payments — service charges and balance top-ups paid by card.

Payments made from your balance don't get a separate invoice: the money was already invoiced when you topped up the balance.

The invoice PDF is generated by Paddle, so its layout and the company details on it are Paddle's.

What you'll see in the history

Hosting, domains, email, servers

Each charge is listed under the service it paid for — a website plan, a domain registration or renewal, a business email plan, or a cloud server month.

Balance top-ups

Payments → Top up balance adds money to your balance (in US dollars). The top-up is a card payment with its own invoice; later payments from that balance appear as "Paid from balance".

Partner rewards

If you're in the partner program, commissions are added to your balance after a 30-day hold and appear in the history.

Plan changes

When you change a hosting plan on a card subscription, Paddle charges the prorated difference for the rest of the current period, so the amount is smaller than a full plan price. That charge has its own invoice.

When you change a plan on a hosting paid from balance, the new plan's price is taken from your balance and the paid-until date stays the same.

Cloud server upgrades charge the difference right away; downgrades aren't refunded.

Tax

Paddle, as merchant of record, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT that applies in your country. If tax applies, it's shown on the Paddle invoice.

Failed payment

If a card charge fails, Paddle retries it and we notify you. What happens meanwhile depends on the service — for a website, it keeps working for 5 days, then it's suspended until paid. See Updating your payment method for how to fix it per service.

Upcoming charges

Payments shows your balance and upcoming manual renewals, Coming up (upcoming payments) and Subscriptions — every domain, hosting and server with how it's paid.
