Refund policy and how to request one.
How refund requests work at Rivervo, what happens automatically, and how to ask for a refund through a support ticket.
Refunds at Rivervo are handled by people, not by a button. Here's how it works and how to ask.
How to request a refund
There is no refund button in the panel. Every refund request goes through a support ticket and is reviewed by our team.
New panel (rivervo.com/panel):
- Help → Write to us
- Pick the topic Payments (invoices, cards, refunds) and, if it's about a specific service, the project
- Say which service or payment you want refunded (the domain or server name and the payment date help) and briefly why
- Send
Replies arrive in the ticket and by email (and in Telegram, if you've connected it). Every request is decided case by case — we don't quote fixed refund periods here, and a specialist will tell you what applies to your situation.
What happens automatically
One case doesn't need a ticket: if a purchase paid from your balance fails on our side — for example, the registry refuses a domain registration — the money goes back to your Rivervo balance automatically.
Things to know before you ask
- Card payments are processed by Paddle, our payment provider (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal where Paddle offers it). If a refund to a card is approved, it goes back through Paddle to the same payment method; how quickly it shows up depends on your bank.
- Cloud server downgrades aren't refunded, and deleting a cloud server stops billing immediately without a refund for the unused part of the month.
- A registered domain can't be deleted — it stays yours until its registration period ends. To stop paying for it, turn off auto-renewal on the domain's page.
- Cancelling business email keeps it working until the end of the paid period; the plan simply isn't renewed.
Chargebacks
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A ticket is the fastest way to sort out a payment problem — and it lets us look at exactly what happened with the charge.
Stopping future charges
If what you really want is to not be charged again:
- Website (hosting): project → Website tab → Plan and billing → auto-renewal Turn off. The site works until the paid date.
- Domain: project → Domain tab → switch off Auto-renew.
- Business email: project → Email tab → Your email plan → Cancel plan.
- Cloud server: server project → Delete server in the danger zone (deletes the server and its data immediately).
